All CDR Pathways Lead to Net Zero: a comprehensive review of CDR pathways with leading experts

November 10 @ 13:30 to 15:00 -03
Hybrid Event
Free

Hosted by Carbon Blue

This session gives a focused review of all major carbon dioxide removal (CDR) pathways: How they remove, general work mechanism, what it costs, and what it takes to measure and verify. We’ll surface the key differentiators: biology- vs. geology- vs. chemistry-based mechanisms; storage durability (how long they store carbon? years to millennia); siting and feedstock needs; co-benefits and risks (land, water, ecosystems); and scale / readiness from pilots to commercial deployment.

A cross-disciplinary panel including scientific, policy, business, technology, and NGO perspectives from industry experts will translate evidence into practical guidance on what can deploy now, what can we expect in the near future (by the next NDC), and how different stakeholders across the board can contribute with the right policy, investments and partnerships.

  • Tal Katz, Sales Director, CarbonBlue
  • Robert Höglund, Head of Climate Strategy and CDR, Milkywire
  • Tito Kankowski, Co-founder and CEO, Airminers
