Join a select group of development finance leaders at COP30 for an action-oriented dialogue on scaling market-based solutions for farmer adaptation and resilience (A&R) and food security — from high-integrity carbon finance to blended capital structures that de-risk private investment and corporate climate leadership.
With climate shocks already cutting smallholder farmers yields by up to 30% in parts of Africa and Asia (FAO), and over 70% of the world’s food produced by these same farmers (IFAD), the urgency to mobilise innovative finance has never been greater.
Yet less than 2% of global climate finance currently reaches smallholders directly (CPI) — a gap this session aims to bridge.
The invite-only Blue Zone session will feature concrete case studies, sector-wide initiatives, and emerging solution archetypes from several funders and practitioner organisations that stand out under the spirit of this ‘Implementation COP’. Join us for an active dialogue to help shape the next wave of developmental and private sector action towards scaling A&R financing.
