How high-integrity carbon markets can foster climate ambition by incentivizing carbon removals

Carbon removals are becoming increasingly important to meet the Paris Agreement goals. Carbon markets can drive private investment in removal technologies and practices, supported by regulation and finance. A key question is how large-scale deployment can ensure social and environmental integrity?
