Brazil is at the forefront of a historic opportunity to lead the global transition toward regenerative and climate-positive agriculture. With its vast tropical soils, innovative farming communities, and a solid scientific foundation, the country has the potential to restore soil health, increase productivity, and durably remove carbon.
This AgriZone panel, organized by InPlanet and held at the Embrapa space dedicated to innovation and sustainable agriculture at COP30, brings together scientists, industry leaders, and institutional representatives to discuss practical and scalable pathways for soil-based carbon removal. The debate will focus on Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) and complementary regenerative practices already being applied in the Brazilian agricultural landscape.
